City Staff have been notified that the Scott County Library Leadership team have met and have issued the following statement.
"Scott County Library is committed to serving the needs of the public while taking precautionary steps to maintain the health and safety of our customers and staff. With the outbreak of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, we are monitoring information and following guidelines provided by Scott County Public Health, the Minnesota Department of Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, we are canceling all classes, programs, events, and outreach at all Scott County Library locations until April 30. At this time, all libraries remain open. Check back on April 1 for the status of May programs. We will keep you informed of any additional changes in our operation as this situation continues."
**This includes all Readmobile programing through April 30th. The Scott County Library Director will reassess the situation in April for May events.
