Dear Friends of Belle Plaine,

Welcome to Beautiful Belle Plaine!

Our town provides residents and visitors with wide streets, many beautiful parks, a great school district, a large number of civic and social clubs, golf courses, churches and a vibrant commercial district. Located on the Minnesota River, Belle Plaine overlooks the scenic river valley, offering many recreational activities.

As part of the fast growing Scott County, Belle Plaine is experiencing many changes related to growth. A larger retail development is planned for the TH25 and TH169 interchange area. A new frontage road proposed for the south along TH169 will provide easy access to our commercial district. Our vibrant downtown district is very attractive with its updated store fronts and awings.

The expansive Minnesota River bridge on our north boundary allows a picturesque entrance into Belle Plaine. A pedestrian trail on the east side, connecting to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources trail system, provides citizens an opportunity to explore the beautiful river valley.

Belle Plaine is experiencing exciting changes and we look forward to our continued growth in residential, commercial and industrial areas.
