Parks & Trails

Park and recreational land uses for the City of Belle Plaine include over twenty City owned parks, trails, open space and recreational areas. These land uses account for approximately 80 acres or 2.4 percent of the City's total acreage. 

Belle Plaine also has high walkability with 18.5 miles of trails and 17.6 miles of city sidewalks.  The trails and sidewalks give easy access to all reaches of the City.
