Students can familiarize themselves with this terrific resource well before they‟re drowning in homework!

Homework Rescue is available from 1:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. 7 days a week, in English and in Spanish.
There is no fee to use it, and interested library card holders can access it from their home computers or from computer workstations in the library.  All Scott County residents need to use this free tutoring service is a valid library card.

“The metro public libraries hope that this live one-to-one homework assistance from certified tutors will indeed be a „lifesaver‟ for students in grades 3-12,” said Chris Olson, Executive Director of MELSA.

Tutoring is provided in all core subjects:  Science (biology, chemistry, physics and earth science), Math (algebra I and II, geometry,  trigonometry and calculus), Social Studies, and English/Language Arts. Homework Rescue Online Tutoring is PC and Mac compatible, and does not require downloads,
