Belle Plaine Municipal Swimming Pool

Cannon Ball!!! Hey Mom, watch this! Woo Hoo! Open Pit!! These are just some of the more popular phrases you'll hear during the hot summer months at the Belle Plaine Municipal Swimming Pool. The Pool is located at 203 West Prairie Street. It is open seasonally starting the first week of June and closing just before Labor Day. Parents can feel safe with the trained Lifeguards who continuously monitor the swimmers.

The City of Belle Plaine requires photo identification on all pool passes. Photos are taken at the Community Services office and payment is required at the time of photo. Swimming lessons are offered throught the season during the morning, afternoon and early evening. Please contact the Community Services office at 952-873-2411 for swimming lesson registration and season membership to the pool.

Open Daily - 7 Days/Week

Open Swim - 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 to Dusk

Free Swim - Thursdays, 5:00 p.m. to Dusk

Family Swim - Sundays, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Pool picnics

The Belle Plaine Pool Committe organizes picnics throughout the summer to help raise money for pool improvements. The picnics are hosted by local businesses and organizations and will be held at the pool. Please come and join us for some food and fun and hop us raise money to improve our pool. Recent improvements include: freshly painted exterior on the pool building, freshly pained and updated pool restrooms/shower areas and the concreate patio and bench walls added during the 2008 summer season.
