belle plaine community volunteer ambulance service
The Belle Plaine Ambulance Department was founded in 1975, and we are very proud to be of service to the community.
The department also gets involved with public relations endeavors of all types. They conduct CPR classes, ambulance tours, safety talks and blood pressure checks.
Currently, there are 30 members that staff two ambulances 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Our staff provides Basic Life Support services for an are approximately 140 square miles in Scott, Carver, Sibley and LeSueur counties. The Belle Plaine Ambulance Service is looking for people interested in making a difference. Drivers, First Responders, EMT's, etc are needed. What does the Community Ambulance Service offer the City of Belle Plaine:

Each of these volunteers has:
- taken up 120 hours of classroom training
- demonstrated Basic Life Support skills
- passed a nationally certified exam!
