| The Community Development department oversees building permits and inspections, code enforcement, economic development, housing and redevelopment, park development, planning and zoning, and the design committee. This department is responsible for managing the overall physical growth of Belle Plaine while adhering to the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and city zoning and subdivision ordinances. |
