The City of Belle Plaine is pleased to offer two of its parks to the public for rental opportunities: Court Park, where the Hooper-Bowler-Hillstorm Historical House is located and Union Square Park, where the annual Bar-B-Que Days celebration is held. Both parks offer kitchen facilities with refrigerators and electrical outlets for your use, covered picnic shelters, restrooms and playground equipment. The rental cost is $30 for Belle Plaine residents and $40 for non-residents. A $50 refundable deposit is also required and will be returned once the kitchen facility is found to be is satisfactory condition and the key for the kitchen is returned to the Government Center. Both of these parks are perfect places for reunions, graduation and wedding receptions or company picnics.
